Your call history should survive the switch.
Moving to Gong from Chorus, Clari, or anywhere else means five years of recorded conversations have to come with you — attributed to the right reps, linked to the right accounts, and accounted for record by record. We build and run that migration, and we hand you the ledger that proves it worked.
Reconciliation ledger, Chorus to Gong. 12 of 14 records shown reconciled at the destination. 2 held for review: below 60s minimum; source marked private. Every record is accounted for.
Three ways a call migration quietly fails
None of these announce themselves. You find out months later, when a manager goes looking for a call that should be there.
Calls land with no rep attribution.
Coaching reports come back empty and nobody can tell you why. Ownership is set when the call is created and cannot be corrected afterwards, so the fix is a second migration at full cost.
Speakers show up as “Caller 1” and “Caller 2”.
Every talk-ratio and listening metric on a migrated call is meaningless. Where the source recorded separate channels, or produced a diarized transcript, that separation can be carried across — but only at load time.
Nothing tells you what didn’t arrive.
Without a per-record reconciliation, “mostly complete” is indistinguishable from complete. You find out months later, when a manager goes looking for a call that should be there.
This takes weeks, and anyone who says otherwise hasn’t done it
Every platform limits how fast data can be loaded into it, and that capacity is shared with the integrations you already have running. Push too hard and you take down your own reporting. Work around it badly and a migration that should take three weeks takes three months.
That scheduling problem is ours, not yours. You get a timeline before we start, your live systems keep the capacity they need, and a failure costs minutes rather than a restart.
Consumes all available capacity while it runs
Leaves 30% of capacity for the systems you already run
Five phases, and you see the output of each
We inventory the source: how many records there are, how much media they carry, who has access, and what the source system will actually hand over.
What you getA record census — counts by date, duration histogram, format breakdown, and the list of records the source will not hand over.
Your recordings don’t need to live with us
Media moves from your source platform into storage you own, under your encryption keys and your retention policy. Where the destination can pull directly from a signed URL, we don’t touch the file at all.
- We hold
- Job state, mappings, checksums
- You hold
- Every byte of recorded media
The destination pulls each recording straight from your source system over a signed URL. Files never pass through Syncavo, and it is the faster of the two routes.
The engine isn’t specific to call data
Extraction, mapping, identity resolution, rate-aware loading and reconciliation are the same problem wherever revenue data moves. Call history is where we started, and CRM migrations run on the same engine today.
Chorus, Zoom and Gong-to-Gong consolidation, with the reconciliation ledger as the deliverable.
HubSpot to Salesforce, and Salesforce-to-Salesforce org merges after an acquisition — object graphs, relationship integrity and cross-org deduplication.
- Archival and retentionPlanned
Conversation data exported to storage you own, for retention and compliance obligations after a platform is switched off.

Send us the source platform and a rough call count. We’ll come back with a scope, a timeline, and what we’d need from you.
